Back in the days of feudal Japan there was no clan more powerful than the Tokugawa. And castles were vital to the rule of the shogun, the powerful military leaders who ruled over the land from the 1600s up until 1868. This exhibition features models, maps, paintings and more relating to the structures that housed the most powerful families of Japan.
