Jamaican cuisine, Sri Lankan desserts, Thai noodles, Japanese curries, Indian dishes, and Awaji Island seafood are just a few of the delights that visitors will find this weekend at the Curry and Spice Festival. Kicking off 2016’s Farmer’s Markets at the United Nations University with a bang of chili powders and cinnamon, it looks like we could stave off the cold with the array of spices to sample.
All featured booths are run by restaurants and farmers from around the country that have been in business for decades, sharing food from their motherland or mother’s dining room table. Be sure to keep a glass of milk handy!
