Craft Sake Week

When: 05/02/16 - 14/02/16: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Where: Roppongi Hills Arena, 6-11-1 Roppongi

Don’t let the name fool you: this is a “week” that runs ten days, and you’ll appreciate the extra time. Craft Sake Week is an event that is curated and produced by footballer turned fashion icon (and sake supporter) Hidetoshi Nakata. More than 250 of Japan’s sake and shochu producers will be serving up their finest, in a setting that allows Japan’s best known beverages to be sampled alongside a variety of food items. Accompanying the sake, shochu, and ume shu will be dishes from la bombance (modern Japanese), Little Kitchen Hirata (Italian), Kudan (oden), Torizenseo (yakitori), and SUGALABO (French). In the spirit of Nakata’s football roots, the brewery and distiller lineups presented during each day of Craft Sake Week are grouped into teams of all-stars, masters, and impressive “rookie” breweries from around Japan:

Friday, February 5: Fukushima Dream Team
Saturday, February 6: The Great Akita Sake Association
Sunday, February 7: The Stylish Miyagi All-Stars
Monday, February 8: The Masters of Japan’s Famous Sake
Tuesday, February 9: SHOCHU MAKERS
Wednesday, February 10: The Top Ten Plum Wine Producers
Thursday, February 11: Young Guns
Friday, February 12: Artisans of World Pride
Saturday, February 13: Master of SAKE COMPETITION
Sunday, February 14: Generation 14
