Bena Lobo is a Brazilian musician and composer who is known for his exciting and sophisticated blend of samba, ballad, and xote afoxé, which you can hear on his three albums – “Nothing Virtual” (2000), “Saturday” (2006), “Saturday Live” (2008) and “Valentia” (2012). Over his 20-year career, he has worked with some of the biggest names in Brazilian music as Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Seu Jorge, João Donato and his parents: Edu Lobo and Wanda Sá. He has also recorded on the projects “Disney Bossa” and “Scent of Bossa,” both produced by Kazuo Yoshida in Japan. The Brazilian musician has played in Portugal, Germany, England, and France but this month he is performing in Japan for the first time.
