Fans of the cult classic film “Back To The Future,” get out your diary! 2015 marks the 30th anniversary for the blockbuster movie, and to celebrate a commemorative film screening and concert has been announced.
For the first time, Marty McFly and Doc Brown will be accompanied by a live orchestra playing the film’s score in all of its glory at an appropriately grand venue—Tokyo International Forum (Hall A).
Taking on the live soundtracking duties will be the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by the New York-based Australian, Nicholas Buc.
The extravaganza is taking place in Tokyo for one night only on Monday, November 23, which luckily is a public holiday—Labor Thanksgiving Day. Dressing up is highly encouraged, with organizers suggesting either 1950s or 1980s attire.
