Aoyama Food Flea is hosting Vol. 3 of their “Sake Flea” in front of the United Nations University this weekend. The aim of the event is for sake brewers to showcase “diversity through fermentation”.
The Farmers Market will, as per usual, feature farmers’ booths from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, all selling their fall and winter crops and goods. Handcrafted materials and trinkets can inspire some early holiday shopping, while enjoying locally-crafted sake.
A live sake brewing show will also be one of the highlights. Wander through the aisles and you’ll find an array of samples and tasting booths open. Times are limited, but it’ll be an excuse to day-drink and snack on some fresh, tasty, and (mostly) organic goods. Food booths from nearby cafes and eateries will be on-hand as well.
