With Haneda Airport taking on more international flights, Shinagawa has become one of Japan’s gateways, and Shinagawa Prince Hotel, with its 3,500 rooms, 13 hotels and various entertainment facilities, is poised to take advantage of Shinagawa’s newfound status. To that end, the hotel and its surroundings have been undergoing various renovations since 2015.

The latest of these renovations is the grand opening of Table 9 Tokyo, the spacious restaurant and bar on the hotel’s top floor. The 2,000-square-meter floor is divided into nine different sections, such as a space for western fusion dining, bar lounges, private VIP dining rooms and even a DJ sound bar.

Table 9 Tokyo, designed by Yasuhiro Koichi, incorporates many unique elements of Shinagawa, from the Edo period to the present, into its design. Opening this December, the elegant Table 9 Tokyo is set to become a new symbol of Shinagawa itself.
