Although once a top Tokyo destination, cat cafes have recently found themselves one-upped by cafes featuring exotic animals like owls and hedgehogs.

But Neco Cafe MoCHA, one of the country’s premier cat cafe chains, is tempting us back to the world of those adorable feline companions with some special treats they’ve created in partnership with marshmallow specialty store Yawahada.

The marshmallows are based on the cafe’s three favorite cats from its Akihabara and Shibuya branches, and can be enjoyed either in the cafe or purchased for eating later in the comfort of your own home.

The cat and paw-shaped marshmallows come in two flavors, milk and chocolate, and are the perfect treat for an afternoon tea or simply to assuage a sudden sugar craving.

Lastly, a word of advice for those who can’t bear biting into something as cute as a kitty-shaped marshmallow: just pop it into a hot drink and let it melt. It’ll both enhance the flavor and free you from that strange guilty feeling.
