Japan’s ubiquitous brand Uniqlo goes high fashion while overtaking Omotesando with runway shows, pop-up shops, and exclusive goods for Uniqlo Fashion Fes in Tokyo.

Not wanting to be left out of all the fashion events going on in autumn, Uniqlo is stepping it up a notch with its Uniqlo Fashion Fes in Tokyo, proving that basics don’t have to be boring. Uniqlo partnered with ten Japanese fashion magazines in order to present activities revolving around the event’s theme, which is “Beauty of Every Woman.” Four pop-up shops from Sweet, Very, Baila and Story magazines will present an exclusive peek into the Uniqlo Fall/Winter line: expect cozy flannels, rich jewel hues, patterns, and a plethora of belts and hats, a welcome departure from the brand’s usually plain collections.

A runway show, celebrity models and stylists’ talks (to be announced on the official website), pop-up cafes and even healthy desserts specifically created for the event will entice crowds (we’re guessing not only women) to flock to Omotesando. It’s your chance to pick up exclusive goods, and even Omotesando staple cafe Montoak will be offering the Uniqlo flavors. We hear organic mecca Urth Caffe will even have its own stall serving their delicious boba teas – count us in.

For two days only, make sure you pass through Omotesando to take a look at this interesting event, and we predict lots of freebies, as Uniqlo never disappoints.
