Art prints from movies, TV shows and video games are exhibited at this gallery in Harajuku.

Film aficionados, this nostalgic gathering of prints you’ll most likely be familiar with may well appeal to you… Taxi Driver, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, Robocop, Full Metal Jacket, Rocky, Terminator, Bonnie and Clyde, Planet of the Apes, Super Mario, Transformer, and even a few more will be part of the crop.

Featured artists include Austin based illustrator Tim Doyle, his occasional collaborator and fellow multimedia artist Clint Wilson, silkscreening tag team Print Mafia, and poster designer Jon Smith. The ____ Gallery (pronounced The Blank Gallery) is a tiny space, but has grown to become one of our favourites in Tokyo. Located right in the heart of Harajuku, there’s no excuse not to stop during a shopping spree for a bit of peace, quiet and an eyeful of art. Did we mention it’s free?
