Do you ever wish you could set your imagination free and paint or draw all over the walls and floors of a house? Yes? Well this may be your only chance…

Inspire Space is a three-storey house in the Azabu-Juban neighbourhood offering rental spaces for exhibitions, events, courses and parties. Before complete renovation of the house, its owner has decided to open it to art lovers, and has invited artists and the general public alike to take over.

It’s your chance to let the creative juice flow and participate in various workshops conducted by a team of contemporary artists from around the globe. From the bathroom to the living room, you can learn how to transform a space by using paints, stencils, clay and crafts.

Everyone is welcome to join in and the activity is perfect for the whole family, as children can take part in the creative fun. The workshops will have something to please everyone, ranging from a ‘hide and seek’ drawing treasure hunt, a music and sounds experiment using crystal bowls, Christmas clay ornaments craft-making, and even video game creation.

Take over the house!

This seems a unique opportunity to learn some art techniques from international artists, and to just have fun in a relaxed, creative setting on a chilly December weekend. Make sure you register by email before the event, by simply sending a message to this address: thehouseproject2012@gmail.com
