A Chinese man has sued his wife after finding out that she had dozens of plastic surgery procedures done on her face, and won a $120,000 settlement for being duped by her ‘fake’ beauty.
Jian Feng initially accused his wife, who remains unnamed despite several images of her circulating the internet, of cheating on him when their first child turned out “incredibly ugly” and resembled neither him nor his wife.
She eventually came clean several months after the birth, admitting that she had gone under the knife and spent about $100,000 on dozens of surgery procedures to transform her looks.
The couple are now divorced.
Beauty enhancement is becoming a thriving business in China as many more Chinese women are willing to go to great lengths to preserve or improve their looks.
