Rock fans rejoice. To celebrate its 11th anniversary, the Tokyo Guitar Show, sponsored by guitar makers Yamano and Fender, has upped the ante this year, and will display over 2000 guitars.

If you have the cash, most of them will be for sale and you can choose your weapon from 20 different makers. Martin Guitars will be joining for the first time, legendary luthier Grover Jackson will be on hand to represent his new brand GJ2, Fender’s master builder Dave Wilson will talk at a special Q&A and there will be a “Vintage Guitar Café.”

Guitars won’t just be there to drool over – they will be strummed in style, with performances from Japanese music legends including Kanjuku Trio, The Rootless, Kato Hisashi & Furuichi Kotaro, Saito Makoto and Van Halen tribute act, Von Halen.
