‘M Space’, Daikanyama’s trendy event space and bar is hosting a special charity event this Sunday to mark the one year anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami.

‘Sunday afternoon with Tomodachi’, will unite Tomodachi Calling and MUGENKAI COMMUNICATION, two organizations that created a charity project to help the people of disaster struck Tohoku. A charity auction will take place, with all proceeds going to the Japan Red Cross Society, and to Togashi-san and Hideo-san, two families who lost everything in the disaster.

Along side Tomodachi Calling, #PAINTFORJAPAN, a Japanese Artist association known mainly on Twitter, will be part of the event.

“The goal of this event is to collect maximum of money as possible,” says M’s Julien Sato.

“This is a family friendly event, so bring your parents and children. Tohoku still needs your help, Thank you for your participation.”
