After a very successful return last year with over 150 guests, Tokyo’s St Andrew society are staging this premier event again in 2011.

This year’s ball will take place at the ANA Intercontinental under the auspices of GM Fergus Stewart, who will be pulling out all the stops to ensure a another splendid evening, joined by David Warren, British Ambassador to Japan.

Tickets are ¥20,000 including a cocktail reception, Scottish-themed gourmet dinner accompanied by fine wines and a whisky bar featuring a range of Scotland’s finest malts.

Entertainment includes live music from the Tokyo Pipe Band, a classical music performance during dinner, Scottish country dancing and live music from Carakana’s ceilidh band led by Kana Otake.

Afterwards, why not party at the chic Mixx Bar & Lounge or make a night of it with special overnight rates at the swish Club Intercontinental?
