Over the years many of Roti Roppongi’s favourite dishes have gained cult status. These days it gets harder and harder to change menus, as it usually means someone cannot get dish they return for time and time again. Delectable burgers, juicy roasted half chickens “hot off the rotisserie spit roaster” vegetarian delights, excellent grilled steaks, lamb chops, and fresh seafood, not to mention an array of truly inspired salads, appetizers & homemade desserts.
Roti can boast a list of over 80 hand picked new and old world wines, many offered by the glass. We are continually developing our wine program in order to offer you excellent quality and real value for money. The rules of the game are simple, we carefully select bottles we think are best matched to our menus, wines that offer real character and robust charm, they also need to fit into a price range that suit’s you the customer. We work very closely with several small independent local wine importers and challenge them to find for us the right wines for our list. The inspiration and concept for Roti was born from the imagination of executive chef Ian Philip Tozer and his desire to create a restaurant that encompasses his passion for simple well prepared food and bold big value food friendly wines. Ian has had a long career as a chef all over the world, yet when in Tokyo loves to spend all his time in the kitchen with his team, or out hunting down the best new wines to add to the list. Our stunning dining room offers modern comfortable seating for up to 42 guests and incorporates the wine bar with additional seating for up to 16. The quiet and secluded outside terrace seats 32 and is very popular in fine weather, the perfect place to escape from the big city for a couple of hours, relax and enjoy lunch, dinner, afternoon tea or just have a glass of wine.
Roti’s English speaking young staff are always ready to take very good care of you and we pride ourselves on our loyal, highly efficient, friendly and knowledgeable managers & servers. We are constantly looking to find more of the right kind of people to add to our team. As we are located in the heart of Tokyo’s entertainment district Roppongi and always have had a large percentage of foreign customers we certainly do go out of our way to make life in Tokyo a little easier and are always more than happy to cater for your special requests.
