Prize Winners of Japan Wildlife Film Festival ’09 will be on screen in Tokyo.

Japan Wildlife Film Festival has been held since 1993 once in every2 years by Non-profit organization, Nature Film Network. 40films hadbeen nominated this year from 347 entered films from over 40countries and prize winners were selected by the judges. Selected prize winners would be screened in Tokyo!

The theme of the festival this year is “Biological diversity” heading for the COP10 which will be held in Aichi prefecture next year. Mr.Susumu Hani, the film director will give a special talk show during the festival.

The aim of the festival is to encourage public awareness towards environmental problems through wonderful wildlife films which has a great influence to convey the importance of life and nature.
