Following the 2007 Attempt exhibition, Attempt 2 will similarly have a guest curator who will select artists and the composition of the exhibition. For this exhibition painter Shigeru Hasegawa was invited to curate and 4 artists were selected according to his plans. The combination of the 4 artists may seem unusual at first since they work on different styles and come from different generations. But this “attempt” at bringing together elements that would not intuitively mix, is sure to create a space filled with inspiring tension.
