King of bachata and merengue music, Juan Luis Guerra will soon be visiting Japan, performing shows in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Holder of 13 career Grammys and Latin Grammys (six in 2008), Guerra has become a cultural ambassador for his native country, the Dominican Republic. He enjoys immense popularity throughout Central and South America, the United States and Europe, and has also established a large fan base in Japan. Together with his 16-piece band 4.40, Guerra will entertain a crowd of music lovers at Shin Kiba’s Studio Coast later this month.
